Croonwolter&dros’ existing on-premises data warehouse suffered from performance issues and could not support future advanced analytics applications. I designed the solution architecture for their new data warehouse.
Principles for the new platform: integration of new data sources (including an Acto ERP system and the Acto data warehouse), migration to Azure, support for streaming data and advanced analytics, halving of ETL process times and manageability by their own staff.
